di-rect

For the alternative rock band DI-RECT, a media rich website was created. The band is famous in the Netherlands and has recorded over six studio albums and played over a thousand shows. The website focuses on the performance site of the band by presenting live footage and videoclips as the first thing the visitor sees.

Unique for the development of this website is the lack of a content management system. Instead, services such as Facebook, Twitter and Vimeo are used to present content and enrich the website with social features. I did the development for this project when I worked for Zidiot.

At the time of writing, the DI-RECT website has been replaced by a different one.
